The sprocket shaft does not have an OEM-style bearing race pressed into it. This flywheel assembly is for crankcases with a Timken sprocket shaft bearing. The pinion shaft has a sprocket for driving the balancer chain. This wheel assembly is a 3-piece design. The pinion shaft and sprocket shaft are forged integrally with the flywheel. The only joint in the assembly is where the 1.671-inch diameter connecting rod crankpin is pressed into the flywheel. The flywheels are CNC machined from heat-treated closed-die forged steel and are 114% stronger than late-style OEM steel flywheels. Assembled with S\u0026amp;S heavy-duty 7.667-inch conrods and full-width wrist pin ends, they are dynamically balanced.
