Who was the woman in the Bike O commercial? A look back at past performers
When did the Bike O commercials start airing?

Bike O's commercials have been airing since February 2004.
They are not just for promoting Bike O, but also convey the desire to "eliminate illegal dumping of motorcycles" and "revitalize the used motorcycle market." This concept is unique to Bike O, which buys and picks up non-running or accident-damaged bikes, and bikes with expired inspections.
At the time, it was rare for used motorcycle dealers to run commercials on a national scale. The commercials were very well-received, earning the No. 1 rating among TV commercial works for vehicle distribution companies in 2005 and 2012.
More than 18 years have passed since their first airing, but Bike O's commercials are still widely broadcast across many media outlets to the point where almost everyone knows about them.

Matsui has never ridden a motorcycle. He was cast for his highly regarded and popular character, to associate the brand image with his good nature.
Named after Matsui's uniform number 55 during his active career, the "55 Project Meeting" was established, with Matsui appointed as an advisor. The project has worked to "improve safety awareness and manners," "appeal the charm of motorcycles to young people, who are said to be moving away from motorcycles, and women, who have a small motorcycle population," and "enlighten returning riders."
This is a wonderful initiative that demonstrates corporate effort to boost the entire motorcycle industry, not just to generate profit for the company.
