When driving on a circuit with an IT-100 infrared transmitter installed, using this product in conjunction with a meter enables automatic lap time measurement.
Since infrared sensors consume a lot of current, even with meters powered by an internal battery like the ACE-1600,
they will not function correctly without using vehicle power (or an external 12V battery).
