■Product Description A thermostat installed in the oil line of an oil cooler that controls the flow to the core according to the engine oil temperature. A shape-memory alloy built into it opens and closes the valve. It prevents overcooling by opening the bypass line when the temperature is low, and maximizes the performance of the oil cooler by closing the bypass line when the temperature is high.
