■Product Description A thermostat installed in the oil line of an oil cooler that controls the flow to the core according to the engine oil temperature. A shape memory alloy built into the unit opens and closes the valve. When the temperature is low, it prevents overcooling by opening the bypass line, and when the temperature is high, it closes the bypass line to maximize the performance of the oil cooler.
