■Product Description A thermostat that attaches to the oil line of an oil cooler and controls the flow to the core based on engine oil temperature. A built-in shape memory alloy opens and closes the valve. It prevents overcooling by opening the bypass line at low temperatures, and maximizes the performance of the oil cooler by closing the bypass line at high temperatures.
