■Product Description This thermostat is installed in the oil line of an oil cooler and controls the flow to the core based on the engine oil temperature. A shape memory alloy built into the thermostat opens and closes a valve. At low temperatures, it prevents overcooling by opening the bypass line, and at high temperatures, it maximizes the performance of the oil cooler by closing the bypass line. Valve operation begins at 70°C (±3°C), making it ideal for warm-up driving. ■Specifications Color: Silver Size: #6 ■Notes *Images are for illustration purposes only.
