■Product Description A thermostat that attaches to the oil line of an oil cooler and controls the flow to the core based on the engine oil temperature. A shape memory alloy built into the thermostat opens and closes the valve. At low temperatures, it prevents overcooling by opening the bypass line, and at high temperatures, it maximizes the oil cooler's performance by closing the bypass line.
