Kit includes thermostat + fittings (2 straight, 2 90°)
This thermostat is installed in the oil line of an oil cooler and controls the flow to the core based on the engine oil temperature. A built-in shape memory alloy opens and closes the valve. At low temperatures, it prevents overcooling by opening the bypass line, and at high temperatures, it maximizes oil cooler performance by closing the bypass line. The valve starts operating at 70°C (±3°C), making it ideal for warm-up.
In addition to the thermostat body alone, a kit with fittings for convenient retrofitting is also available.

Precautions

*The union size on the thermostat side is M14 x P1.5.
*When installing, secure it to the frame or subframe, or use universal stays to secure it to the vehicle body. Ensure it does not come into contact with the engine or muffler due to vibrations during driving.
*An oil cooler kit is required separately for installation.
