■Product Description
Thermostat + Fitting Kit (2 straight, 2 90°)
This thermostat controls the flow to the oil cooler core based on engine oil temperature, and is installed in the oil line of the oil cooler. A built-in shape-memory alloy opens and closes the valve. When the temperature is low, it opens the bypass line to prevent overcooling, and when the temperature is high, it closes the bypass line to maximize the performance of the oil cooler. Valve operation begins at 70℃ (±3℃), making it ideal for warming up the engine.
In addition to the thermostat body alone, we also offer kits with fittings for easy retrofitting.
If you have purchased an oil cooler's "thermo-compatible kit," please purchase the "body only."
