This muffler is certified by the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, after undergoing measurements of exhaust gas regulations (carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon, and nitrogen oxide concentrations) and noise regulations (proximity exhaust noise and acceleration noise) by the Japan Motorcycle Accessories Association (JMCA).
The silencer bears a JMCA plate, which is proof of certification, allowing for safe use on public roads.
