This exhaust system has been certified by the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism after undergoing emission regulations (carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon, and nitrogen oxide concentrations) and noise regulations (proximity exhaust noise and acceleration noise) tests by the Japan Motorcycle Accessories Association (JMCA).
A JMCA plate, indicating certification, is attached to the silencer, allowing for safe use on public roads.
