■ This drive belt repair kit includes the necessary weight rollers and slide pieces for drive belt replacement, along with a 100% Japanese-made drive belt (JASO standard compliant). The weight rollers and slide pieces are made from high-quality PA46 (polyamide PA46) and other materials with excellent heat resistance and wear resistance.
■ Scooter drive system components are recommended for inspection and replacement every 5,000 km to 10,000 km. The slide pieces, made of resin, also act as a buffer between friction-generating aluminum and iron parts. Wear and deterioration of these parts can impair the performance of the drive system.
■ If the resin part of the weight roller wears down and its diameter decreases, the shifting range will change, preventing smooth operation of the drive.
■ A broken drive belt can lead to unexpected failures and damage to the drive system. Regular maintenance of these components will improve the scooter's running performance.
