Re-upholstery can be done with a hand tacker (and its staples), a thin flathead screwdriver, and needle-nose pliers (to remove staples).
Once you learn how to do it, it's surprisingly easy, so you might want to try re-upholstering various designs of seat covers.
(Please be careful not to injure yourself with tacker staples during the re-upholstery work.)
