Reupholstering can be done with a hand tacker (and its staples), a thin flat-head screwdriver, and long-nose pliers (to remove staples).
Once you learn how, it's surprisingly easy, and you might find yourself wanting to try reupholstering with various seat cover designs.
(Please be careful not to injure yourself with the tacker staples during the reupholstery work.)
