Reupholstery can be done with a hand stapler (and its staples), a thin flat-head screwdriver, and long-nose pliers (to remove staples).
Once you learn how, it's surprisingly easy, and you might even want to try reupholstering seat covers in various designs.
(Please be careful not to injure yourself with stapler staples during reupholstery.)
