Reupholstery can be done with a hand tacker (and its staples), a thin flathead screwdriver, and needle-nose pliers (to remove staples).
Once you learn how to do it, it's surprisingly easy, and you might even want to try reupholstering with various seat cover designs.
(Please be careful not to injure yourself with tacker staples during the reupholstery work.)
