Reupholstery can be done with a hand tacker (and its staples), a thin flat-head screwdriver, and needle-nose pliers (to remove staples).
Once you learn how, it's surprisingly easy, and you might find yourself wanting to try various seat cover designs.
(Please be careful not to injure yourself with tacker staples during reupholstery.)
