Overlay type
While general seat repair often involves a technician using specialized tools to stretch upholstery, Grondement's overlay seat covers are characterized by their ability to easily make a seat look brand new by simply covering it, without the need for tools.
Moreover, the finish is comparable to a re-upholstered seat.
Conventional overlay seat covers often have an image of "not fitting well" or "resulting in a stiff finish that at least keeps out rain" (compared to our products). However, this product overturns that conventional wisdom, achieving the best possible finish.
Vehicle-specific design
While the product incorporates elastic and does not require tools for installation, some vehicles may be easier to install if the seat base is removed.
To ensure quality, the precision of the molds has been maximized. Therefore, depending on the amount of force applied or the shape of the seat for certain vehicle models, some reupholstering skill may be required.
Furthermore, quality control is carried out based on the vehicle-specific design.
Installation is not possible if the seat base is an aftermarket product or has lost its original shape (e.g., damaged or deteriorated).
This product includes only the seat cover.
