Overlay specification
While seat repair generally involves technicians stretching new upholstery using specialized tools, Grondement's overlay seat covers are designed to simply be placed over the existing seat without tools, making it easy to restore your seat to like-new condition.
The finished result is comparable to a re-upholstered seat.
Traditional overlay seat covers might have an image of "not fitting snugly," or "ending up stiff but at least providing rain protection" (compared to our products), but this product overturns that perception by achieving the best possible finish.
Vehicle-specific design
The product incorporates elastic, so no tools are required for installation. However, depending on the vehicle model, it may be easier to remove the seat base for installation.
To ensure quality, the precision of the molds is extremely high, so depending on the amount of force applied or the shape of the vehicle's seat, some re-upholstering skill may be required.
Additionally, quality control is carried out based on vehicle-specific designs.
Installation is not possible if the seat base is aftermarket or no longer retains its original shape (e.g., damaged or worn out).
