Overlay type
Generally, repairing a seat involves a technician stretching the seat cover with specialized tools. However, a key feature of Grondement's overlay seat covers is that they can be easily fitted over the existing seat without tools, making it look like new.
Furthermore, the finished result is comparable to a re-covered seat.
Traditional overlay seat covers often carried the impression of "ill-fitting," or "bulky but at least provides rain protection" (compared to our products). However, this product overturns that perception, achieving the best possible finish.
Vehicle-specific design
The product has elastic integrated, so no tools are required for installation. However, depending on the vehicle model, it may be easier to remove the seat base for installation.
To ensure quality, the precision of the molds has been refined to the utmost, so some force or a certain level of re-covering skill may be required depending on the vehicle's seat shape.
Furthermore, quality control is conducted based on vehicle-specific designs.
Installation is not possible if the seat base is aftermarket or not in its original shape (e.g., damaged or worn).
