Overlay type
While repairing a seat typically involves a technician using specialized tools to stretch new upholstery, Grondement's overlay seat covers are designed to simply be placed over the existing seat without any tools, making it easy to restore your seat to like-new condition.
The finish is so good, it looks as if the seat has been completely re-upholstered.
Traditional overlay seat covers often have a reputation for "not fitting snugly," or "ending up stiff, but at least they keep the rain off" (compared to our products), but this product overturns that perception by achieving an outstanding finish.
Vehicle-specific design
The product incorporates elastic, so no tools are required for installation, but depending on the vehicle, it may be easier to install if the seat base is removed.
To ensure quality, the precision of the molds has been refined to the utmost, so some force or a certain level of re-upholstery skill may be required depending on the vehicle's seat shape.
