Alpinestars began in 1963 as a mountaineering boot manufacturer in the town of Asolo, in northeastern Italy.
Founder Sante Mazzarolo, with the desire to deliver the best products and services to the world, named the company Alpinestars after the Star Alpina, a flower that grows at the highest point of the Alps, visible only to those who strive.
In the 1970s, Alpinestars dominated the motocross boot market worldwide and, with Kenny Roberts, created a sensation in road racing.
Mick Doohan won five MotoGP championships wearing Alpinestars boots.
Today, Sebastian Vettel has won three consecutive F1 championships, many top riders in MotoGP use Alpinestars, and the brand continues to captivate fans worldwide in outdoor and extreme sports such as MTB and surfing.
