Reduces the risk of losing the right step in a fall, protects a portion of the exhaust pipe. Requires minor modification.
Features
The 1/4 inch (6.4mm) thick aluminum skid plate and step brace, laser-cut, and the 1.8 inch (3mm) 304 stainless steel bracket successfully achieve several times the strength of the stock step mount itself while using the stock step mount as a structural component.
The Step Support Standard protects and reinforces the stock step mount and a portion of the exhaust pipe.
The Step Support Plus protects and reinforces the stock step mount, and covers a portion of the exhaust pipe and the rear of the exhaust pipe to protect against damage from rocks and other impacts.
Both items require minor modification to the muffler hanger.
