While the normal cam shape is generally circular, the G2 Tamer Throttle tames snatchiness by making the cam shape at the initial pull of the throttle cable a non-linear ratio. Ultimately, the cam characteristic is such that full throttle is achieved at almost the same throttle opening as stock.

Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, it is incomparably smoother than stock.
