This is G2's quick-turn throttle for street use, also known as the well-known "Tamer Throttle."
Please consider it a high-speed throttle (approximately 10-15%) that can be installed in the standard throttle housing.
This is an item we highly recommend to those who are concerned about the large opening angle of the standard throttle.
You will surely experience a very pleasant characteristic in the stable range above a certain high gear, RPM, and throttle opening, such as on high-speed circuits.
However, reducing the opening angle naturally has its disadvantages.
The feeling of operation in low gears, low RPM, and low opening angles before reaching that stable range tends to be more sensitive compared to the standard (stock) throttle.
Especially for large displacement motorcycles, it might be best to position this as an expert-level item, suitable for riders who can perform at an advanced level on any circuit on their first try.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, it is incomparably smoother than the standard one.
Another major feature is that the right hand is less likely to get tired, also due to less play in the tube compared to the standard one.
