This is G2's Quick Turn Throttle for street use, well-known as the "Tamer Throttle" from the "Aha! Item" series.
Consider it a high-speed throttle (approximately 10-15% faster) that can basically be installed in the genuine throttle housing.
This is an item we highly recommend to those who are concerned about the large opening angle of the stock throttle.
You will experience a very pleasant characteristic in the stable range beyond a certain high gear, RPM, and throttle opening angle, especially on high-speed circuits.
However, reducing the opening angle naturally comes with disadvantages.
The operational feel at lower gears, low RPMs, and low opening angles leading up to that stable range tends to be more sensitive compared to the genuine (stock) throttle.
Especially for large displacement motorcycles, it might be best to position this item as being for experts, so much so that they can ride at an advanced level at any circuit they visit for the first time.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, which, combined with the cam characteristics, makes it incomparably smoother than the stock throttle.
Another major feature is that your right hand is less likely to tire, also due to the reduced play in the tube compared to the stock.
