Not a high-turn or low-turn throttle!
Many modern street bikes have been equipped with fuel injection, meaning riders have to contend with a snatchy, jerky feeling.
The G2 Tamer Throttle is an item designed to make riding easier by physically altering the EFI's power delivery through the structure of the throttle cam.
The secret lies in the throttle cam!
While normal cams are generally circular in shape, the G2 Tamer Throttle tames the snatchiness by giving the cam a non-linear ratio at the initial pull of the throttle cable. The cam characteristic ultimately results in full throttle at roughly the same throttle opening as stock.
Because we frequently use the initial throttle opening and partial throttle ranges, we believe you'll appreciate the benefits of installing a G2 Tamer Throttle, as shown in the graph.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, which, combined with the cam characteristics, make it incomparably smoother than the stock throttle.
Another major feature is that the right hand is less prone to fatigue because there is less play in the tube compared to the stock version.
