The G2 Tamer Throttle is an item that makes the bike easier to ride by changing the EFI power delivery through the physical aspect of the throttle cam's structure.
The secret is in the throttle cam!
While the stock cam shape is generally circular, the G2 Tamer Throttle tames snatch by using a non-linear ratio for the cam shape at the initial pull of the throttle cable. Ultimately, the cam characteristic allows for full throttle opening at roughly the same throttle position as stock.
Since most riding involves frequent use of the initial throttle opening and partial throttle range, we believe you can appreciate the benefits of installing the G2 Tamer Throttle from the graph.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, it's incomparably smoother than the stock throttle.
Additionally, another major feature is that your right hand will be less fatigued due to less play in the tube compared to stock.
