This is G2's Quick Turn Throttle for street use, known as the "Tamer Throttle."
Essentially, consider it a quick-turn throttle (approx. 10-15% faster) that can be installed in the genuine throttle housing.
This is an item we highly recommend to those who are concerned about the large throttle opening of the genuine throttle.
You will surely experience a very pleasant characteristic in the stable range above a certain high gear, RPM, and throttle opening, such as on high-speed circuits.
However, reducing the throttle opening, of course, comes with disadvantages.
The operating feel in low gears, low RPMs, and small throttle openings before reaching that stable range tends to be more sensitive compared to the genuine (stock) throttle.
Especially for large displacement motorcycles, it might be best to position this as an expert-level item, allowing you to ride at an advanced level on any circuit even on your first visit.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, it is incomparably smoother than the genuine one.
Another major feature is that your right hand is less likely to get tired, also due to less play in the tube compared to the genuine one.
