This is G2's quick-turn throttle for street use, also known as the "Tamer Throttle" for its clever design.
Essentially, it's a high-performance throttle (approx. 10-15%) that can be installed in your genuine throttle housing.
This item is highly recommended for those who are concerned about the large opening angle of their genuine throttle.
You will experience a very pleasant characteristic in the stable range, especially at higher gears, RPMs, and throttle openings on high-speed circuits.
However, reducing the opening angle naturally comes with some disadvantages.
The feeling of operation at low gears, low RPMs, and low opening angles, before reaching that stable range, tends to be more sensitive compared to the genuine (stock) throttle.
Especially for large-displacement motorcycles, it might be best to position this item as being for experts who can ride at an advanced level on any circuit they encounter for the first time.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, it's incomparably smoother than the genuine one.
Another major feature is that there's less play in the tube compared to the genuine one, which also helps reduce fatigue in your right hand.
