Many modern street bikes are now fuel-injected, meaning riders have to contend with snatch (or jerkiness, as it could be described).
The G2 Tamer Throttle is an item that makes riding easier by changing the EFI's power delivery from a physical perspective, specifically through the structure of the throttle cam.
The secret lies in the throttle cam!
While the stock cam shape is generally circular, the G2 Tamer Throttle tames snatch by using a non-linear ratio for the cam shape at the beginning of the throttle cable pull. Ultimately, the cam characteristic allows for full throttle at roughly the same throttle opening as stock.
Because in reality, the throttle is frequently opened partially or at the very beginning, we believe you can appreciate the benefits of introducing the G2 Tamer Throttle from the graph.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, it's incomparably smoother than the stock part.
Another major feature is that there's less play in the tube compared to stock, which also reduces fatigue in the right hand.
