It's neither a quick-turn nor a slow-turn throttle!
Many modern street bikes, due to fuel injection, cause riders to experience a snatchy feeling (which can be described as jerky).
The G2 Tamer Throttle is an item designed to make riding easier by altering the EFI's power delivery through the physical structure of the throttle cam.
The secret lies in the throttle cam!
While the stock cam shape is generally circular, the G2 Tamer Throttle tames the snatchiness by giving the cam shape a non-linear ratio at the initial opening of the throttle cable. Ultimately, the cam characteristic allows for full throttle at roughly the same throttle opening as stock.
Given that the throttle is frequently used at the initial opening and in the partial range, we believe you can appreciate the benefits of installing the G2 Tamer Throttle from the graph.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, it's incomparably smoother than the genuine part.
Another major feature is that the tube has less play compared to the genuine part, which also reduces fatigue in the right hand.
