Not a high throttle, not a low throttle!
With many modern street bikes now fuel-injected, riders often experience snatchiness (which could also be described as jerkiness).
The G2 Tamer Throttle is a product that improves rideability by altering the EFI's power delivery through the physical structure of the throttle cam.
The secret lies in the throttle cam!
While the normal cam shape is generally circular, the G2 Tamer Throttle tames the snatchiness by making the cam shape at the beginning of the throttle cable pull a non-linear ratio. Ultimately, the cam characteristic allows for full throttle at roughly the same throttle opening as stock.
The reality is that the initial throttle opening and partial throttle range are used extensively, which is why we believe you will appreciate the benefits of installing the G2 Tamer Throttle, as seen in the graphs.
Teflon sleeves are built into both ends of the throttle tube, and combined with the cam characteristics, the smoothness is incomparably better than the stock throttle.
Another major feature is that there is less play in the tube compared to stock, which helps reduce fatigue in the right hand.
