Many modern Japanese cruisers, having adopted fuel injection, now experience a "snatch" (which can be described as a jerky feeling).
The G2 Tamer Throttle is an item that modifies the power delivery of the EFI system from a physical perspective, specifically through the structure of the throttle cam.
The secret lies in the throttle cam!
While the stock cam shape is generally circular, the G2 tames the snatch by making the cam shape at the initial pull of the throttle cable non-linear. The cam characteristic is such that it ultimately reaches full throttle at the same throttle opening as stock.
This is the solution to the complaint that "opening the throttle on large displacement engines is tiring at the beginning!"
