One of the greatest advantages of Outback Motortrek's crash bar system is the 27mm diameter tube welded to 5mm thick steel mounting tabs.
It reliably protects components around the fairing, radiator, and engine.
This design is based on the philosophy that less is more, resulting in a compact and robust crash bar with the crash points close to the mounting points.

We chose not to cover the bike with crash bars that look like cobwebs.
The F700/800GS has very few mounting points, so instead of choosing a flexible and soft structure, it makes more sense to create a solid, compact crash bar that can provide strength close to the mounting points.
A compact and tough crash bar is the only solution for protecting BMW's expensive and fragile genuine parts.
