One of the biggest advantages of the crash bar system for the Yamaha XT1200Z Super Ténéré is that the main tube, with a diameter of 27mm, is attached to 5mm thick steel mounting tabs (three on each side!) to reliably protect parts such as the cowling, radiator, and engine.
It is a compact and tough crash bar with a short distance from the mounting points to the crash points.
This structure successfully complements the sporty and aggressive design of the Super Ténéré.
