This is the most universal and functional side pannier frame, allowing simple and secure attachment of hard panniers, soft panniers, Rotopax, and more.
The difference between the Standard and X-frame is the presence or absence of a detachable X-frame (large central reinforcement plate) and its mounts. It's also whether or not each of the four corners of both the left and right frames have welded tabs for hook points.
