These are wide rally and adventure steps machined from aluminum, arguably the pinnacle of their kind.
The steps can be switched between standard position and back & low by changing the insertion direction of the collar on the step pivot shaft. By setting them as back steps, the way traction is applied changes.
The angle of the steps can be adjusted by changing the protrusion amount of the bolt that contacts the frame. Depending on the angle chosen, it naturally encourages a knee-grip stance.
The steps can be changed to a pseudo-round step by altering the length of the cleats (pins). This makes it easier to control the bike with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3 grub screw type in the standard configuration. Grip can be further adjusted by selecting optional parts.
Staff members who frequently ride off-road in all genres reported no significant deformation other than scratches after more than a year of continuous use.
