The Air EXT Step is an evolution of the feature-rich and lightweight machined aluminum wide step EVO Air Step.
The step can be switched between standard position and back & low by changing the insertion direction of the collar on the step's rotating shaft. Changing to a back step alters how traction is applied.
The angle of the step can be adjusted by changing the protrusion of the bolt that contacts the frame. Depending on the chosen angle, it can naturally encourage knee gripping.
By changing the length of the cleats (pins), it can be converted into a pseudo-round step. This makes controlling the bike with subtle weight shifts easier.
The cleats (pins) are F3, which are grub screw type in the standard configuration. Grip can be further adjusted by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-step that protrudes to the rear. This allows for control to be easier as the step is engaged with a surface rather than points or lines.
In continuous use by staff who frequently ride off-road in various genres, there were no significant deformations other than scratches.
