The Air EXT step is an evolution of the feature-packed, lightweight aluminum-machined wide step EVO Air step.
By changing the insertion direction of the collar on the step's pivot axis, you can switch between the standard position and a back & low position. Moving the step back changes how traction is applied.
The step angle can be adjusted by changing the protrusion amount of the bolt that contacts the frame. Depending on the chosen angle, it can naturally encourage a knee-grip stance.
By changing the length of the cleats (pins), you can convert it to a pseudo-round step. This makes it easier to control with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3 set-screw type in the standard configuration. Grip can be further adjusted by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-step that protrudes rearward. What was previously a "point" or "line" contact with the step can now be felt as a "surface," making control easier.
During continuous use by staff who frequently ride off-road in all genres, there were no significant deformations other than scratches.
