The Air EXT steps are an evolution of the feature-rich, lightweight, CNC-machined aluminum EVO Air steps.
The step's rotational axis can be set to a standard position or to a back and low position by changing the insertion direction of the collar. By using the back step, the way traction is applied changes.
The step angle can be changed by adjusting the amount of bolt protrusion that contacts the frame. Depending on the chosen angle, it can naturally assist with knee gripping.
The cleat (pin) length can be changed to simulate a rounded step. This makes it easier to control with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3, which are grub screw type in the standard configuration. Grip can be further adjusted by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-step protruding backward. This makes control easier as the step is engaged with a surface rather than points or lines.
Through continuous use by staff who frequently ride all genres of off-road, no significant deformation other than scratches was observed.
