The Air EXT Step is an evolution of the feature-packed, lightweight aluminum wide EVO Air Step.
The step can be switched between the standard position and back & low by changing the insertion direction of the collar on the step's pivot axis. By moving the step backward, the way traction is applied changes.
The angle of the step can be adjusted by changing the protrusion of the bolt that contacts the frame. Depending on the chosen angle, it can automatically encourage a knee-grip stance.
By changing the length of the cleat (pin), it can be converted to a pseudo-round step. This makes it easier to control with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3, an Allen screw type, as standard. Grip can be further changed by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-step that protrudes rearward. What was previously stepping on points or lines can now be gripped over a surface, making control easier.
Continuous use by staff who frequently ride off-road in all genres showed no major deformation other than scratches.
