The Air EXT Step is an evolution of the Air Step, a lightweight aluminum wide step with many features.
The step position can be switched between standard and back & low by changing the insertion direction of the collar in the step's rotation axis. By moving the step back, the way traction is applied changes.
The angle of the step can be changed by adjusting the amount of protrusion of the bolt that contacts the frame. Depending on the angle chosen, it can naturally encourage knee gripping.
By changing the length of the cleat (pin), it can be changed to a pseudo-round step. This makes it easier to control with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3 set-screw type in the standard configuration. The grip feel can be further altered by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-step protruding to the rear. What was once stepping on the step at points or lines can now be controlled more easily as it is grasped as a surface.
Through continuous use by staff who frequently ride off-road in various genres, there were no major deformations other than scratches.
