The Air EXT footpegs are an evolution of the lightweight, feature-rich, CNC-machined aluminum wide EVO Air footpegs.
By changing the insertion direction of the collar in the footpeg's pivot axis, you can switch between the standard position and a back-and-low position. Moving the footpegs back changes how traction is applied.
The angle of the footpegs can be changed by adjusting the amount of bolt protrusion that contacts the frame. Depending on the angle chosen, it can naturally encourage a knee grip.
By changing the length of the cleats (pins), it is possible to create a pseudo-round footpeg. This makes it easier to control the bike with slight weight shifts.
The standard cleats (pins) are F3, using set screws. Optional parts allow for further customization of grip feel.
The secondary step extending rearward allows for traction control. What was once controlled by stepping on points or lines can now be controlled with a wider surface, making control easier.
During continuous use by staff who frequently ride off-road in various genres, there were no major deformations other than scratches.
