The Air EXT steps are an evolution of the feature-packed, lightweight aluminum wide EVO Air steps.
By changing the insertion direction of the collar on the step's pivot shaft, you can switch between the standard position and a back & low position. Moving the steps back changes how traction is applied.
The step angle can be adjusted by changing the protrusion amount of the bolt that contacts the frame. Depending on the chosen angle, it can naturally encourage a knee-grip stance.
By changing the length of the cleat (pin), it can be converted into a pseudo-round step. This makes it easier to control with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3 set screws as standard. Grip can be further adjusted by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-steps that protrude to the rear. What was once stepping on points or lines can now be gripped across a surface, making control easier.
In continuous use by staff who frequently ride off-road in all genres, there were no significant deformations other than scratches.
