The Air EXT Step is an evolution of the EVO Air Step, a lightweight, machined aluminum wide step packed with features.
The step can be switched between standard position and back & low by changing the insertion direction of the collar on the step's pivot axis. Moving the step back changes how traction is applied.
The angle of the step can be adjusted by changing the protrusion amount of the bolt that touches the frame. Depending on the chosen angle, it can naturally encourage a knee-grip stance.
By changing the length of the cleats (pins), it can be converted into a pseudo-round step. This makes it easier to control with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3, which are grub screw type in the standard configuration. The grip feel can be further adjusted by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-step that protrudes rearward. What was previously controlled by stepping on points or lines can now be controlled with a surface, making it easier to control.
Through continuous use by staff who frequently ride off-road in all genres, there were no major deformations other than scratches.
