The EVO Air Step, a lightweight, machined aluminum wide step packed with features, has been further evolved into the Air EXT Step.
The step can be switched between a standard position and a back-and-low position by changing the insertion direction of the collar on the step's pivot axis. Moving the step backward changes how traction is applied.
The step angle can be adjusted by altering the protrusion amount of the bolt that contacts the frame. Depending on the chosen angle, it can naturally encourage a knee-grip posture.
By changing the length of the cleat (pin), it can be converted to a pseudo-round step. This makes it easier to control with slight weight shifts.
The cleats (pins) are F3 grub screw type as standard. Grip can be further adjusted by selecting optional parts.
Traction control is possible with the sub-step that protrudes to the rear. What was previously stepping on points or lines can now be gripped over a surface, making control easier.
Through continuous use by staff who frequently ride various off-road terrains, no significant deformation was observed other than scratches.
