Its performance suppresses the sudden onset of braking force upon initial application, then increases in a parabolic curve up to the mid-range, after which it maintains stable braking power until the end. By suppressing the initial bite, braking can be performed with sufficient load on the front, allowing the brakes to be used to their limit from an early stage. Furthermore, the stable braking power reacts faithfully to lever input, making it easier to control the brakes closer to their limit.
