・Utilizes an EK chain (manufactured by Enuma Chain Mfg. Co., Ltd.) to achieve both durability and further weight reduction. It is a solid bush type that is resistant to kinking. While retaining the 25H size with thicker link plates than genuine cam chains, the pin diameter has been reduced for weight savings. The pins are subjected to surface hardening treatment (CRH・special chromizing treatment), and the strength balance has been thoroughly refined.

Comparison of Daytona's solid bush and general curled bush: The 25 and 25H chains currently manufactured as cam chains are not roller chains but bush chains. Their structure involves the bush maintaining the width of the inner plates and the pin holding the outer plates. The state referred to as "kinking" in cam chains occurs when the bush cannot maintain the width of the inner plates due to heat or load during operation, causing the width to gradually expand and eventually rub against the outer plates, leading to seizing. Generally, this bush is a split type called a curled bush, so it is constantly deforming and absorbing force due to excessive driving force. Our 25HS uses a solid bush without a split, which is cold-forged. This structure can sufficiently withstand the strong driving force of highly tuned engines and is extremely resistant to kinking.
